After making your new window selection, the first step is to allow our team into your home to take precise measurements of each window. Once this process is complete, your custom windows will be manufactured to meet your home’s exact requirements. Soon our team will be in touch to schedule a convenient day and time for installation. In most cases, our installers can complete a replacement window installation of ten windows in one to two days, and we are equipped to install windows in any season or weather. How to Prepare for Installation
Our team will need to access your windows from the inside and outside. Therefore, you will need to clear a path around your windows both on the interior of your home as well as the exterior. Remove curtains, drapes, blinds, and shades and move furniture away from the windows. Don’t forget to move obstacles such as grills, flower boxes, furniture, equipment, vehicles, and decorative items outside your home as well. You may also need to trim hedges and trees to allow better access to the windows.
Window installation can shake your walls and rattle things in your home. To avoid accidents, remove pictures from adjacent walls and move fragile items from nearby shelves for safekeeping. If you have any security system features on your windows, be sure to remove them before installation to avoid startling alarms.
